Estepona has various castles and museums to visit. All of them are of different eras, however they all have something in common: their charms.

In the Plaza de San Francisco we find the Church Parroquial de Ntra. Sra. de los Remedios, of the 18th century which was occupied from 1725 to 1766 and used as a convent by the padres franciscanos de la Orden Terciaria. In 1835 it was abandoned. On the door a strange mix of styles can be observed from rococo to the colonial arcitecture of Latin America.

If we go to Guadalmansa, we encounter the fabulous rests of a Roman villa, the Tower of Guadalmansa and the centre of interpretation which leads the visitor to learn about the ways of life of the Roman times and the functioning of the almenaras towers.

An authentic jewel of historical patrimony of the urban nucleus of Estepona is the Tower de Reloj, of Arab origen. In the 18th Century a cupula of neoclassical style was added. All was restored at the beginning of the century.
