With its hundreds of beaches at the Costa del Sol, you surely will find one of your taste. The average temperature of the sea is about 18 degrees and in summer it can reach up to 25. With hundreds, not dozens, of beaches on the Costa del Sol, you’ll probably find one to your liking. The water’s average temperature is 18 degrees and in summer it reaches 25 on some days. Water temperature is not always directly proportional to the weather, but swimming should not be a problem.
With so much of the coast populated, most of the beaches are inside towns, with all the amenities that one would expect: changing facilities, refreshment kiosks, restrooms, showers, lifeguards, and in some cases lounge chairs and parasols.
Within towns especially, you will find many beach bars and restaurants. These are called chiringuitos, and generally feature outstanding menus, often featuring fish prominently, at very affordable prices. Enjoy! |
