Malaga capital, like the Costa del Sol, offers a great amount of beaches, the majority equipped and with services, showers, life guards, etc... From the beaches in Malaga we first point out the
Playa de La Malagueta, an urban beach located in the centre of Malaga, very popular by the habitants of the town, of a lenght of 1 1/2 km and of fine dark sands.
From the La Malagueta beach we go to Playa de la Caleta, urban beach of Malaga, very looked after and well equipped. Also of dark sand and approx. 1km long.
The beach Playa de Pedregalejo, or Las Acacias is a family beach par excellance, this is a succession of urban beaches very well looked after and equipped, with a family ambiente. Protected it has also access for disabled.
Going out of the town we reach the beach Peñón del Cuervo, small beach of dark sand along the motorway, without equipment nor services.
The Peñón del Cuervo divides the beach in two and offers a ver characteristic type of beach. Isolated like the La Araña beach, this last one is beeing visited of all the neighbouring places of the areas. The beaches are of dark sand. |
